Arrowsouth

The Arrowsouth multi-lot residential subdivision for Arrowsouth Properties Ltd comprised the design and development of twenty residential allotments, together with public trails and a stormwater pond, on a unique site at the southern corner of Arrowtown.

The Coterra team provided full land development services for this project, from the initial site investigation and feasibility assessments, through the full consenting, design, construction set-out, contract administration and project management stages, to the final boundary pegging and LINZ lodgement to enable new titles.

This development presented a number of challenges, including high groundwater levels and difficult site soils, limited opportunities for suitable wastewater and stormwater servicing, and complex pedestrian and cycle trail requirements on a steep slope face. The team at Coterra used their many years of land development experience to overcome these challenges and deliver an attractive and functional residential development.

The Arrowsouth development includes a significant stormwater retention pond, a network of trail connections, and extensive native planting. Coterra remains involved in the ongoing monitoring of the stormwater pond, trail network, and plant establishment.
