Subdivision Servicing

We are experienced Land Development engineers.  We pride ourselves on providing comprehensive and practical civil engineering solutions to supply three waters infrastructure to your subdivision.

We design the water, stormwater and wastewater services required, and we then prepare the construction plans and documents to obtain council engineering approval.

We work with local contractors and councils to provide the best engineering solutions in an effective and efficient manner.

We also commonly arrange electricity and telecommunications quotes, designs, and installations, particularly to coordinate the full services design and construction process.

Roading and Access

Coterra use the latest design software, to prepare safe and efficient road designs that look good and function perfectly.  Our design engineers work through the whole process, from concept to construction.  We prepare engineering designs for new roads, right-of-way accessways, and driveways, and obtain all necessary council approvals.

Coterra also provides survey set-out and construction supervision to ensure the roads are built exactly as intended.

Earthworks

We use our specialist software to create 3d models for earthworks and to calculate exact earthworks volumes.  We prepare earthworks plans and reports for council consenting purposes, and we generate 3d renders for the visualisation of your development project.  We also provide 3d machine control data files for construction.

Project Management

We work with you through all aspects of your land development, which makes us the logical choice to manage your project.  There are many moving elements and overlapping tasks in a land development project, and we can arrange these to maximise efficiency and keep the entire process running smoothly.  We regularly liaise with councils, contractors, utility services providers, other consultants, solicitors and agents.  We are happy to provide as much or as little assistance as you require.

Construction Supervision

The team at Coterra can prepare your construction tender documents, contracts, and specifications, and provide supervision throughout the entire construction works process.  Professional construction supervision is often a requirement of resource consent.  As “engineer to the contract” we review, verify and process contractor claims.  We have our clients’ best interests in mind to ensure the construction contracts run on budget and on-time.

Asbuilt Surveys

Measurement is the essence of what we do here at Coterra, and accurate recording of underground service locations is very important.  We capture and prepare 3d asbuilt records for three waters services, and electricity and communications utilities.   The data is then loaded into local GIS systems for public use.  It is critical that this data is reliable and accurate, and the team at Coterra are able to guarantee this.
